This policy explains what information White Marsa ("we") collects through whitemarsa.com, why we collect it and what we do with it. White Marsa is a freight forwarding and customs clearance company based in Giza, Egypt.
What we collect
- Quote requests. When you send the quote form we receive what you enter: your name, company, phone/WhatsApp number, email, preferred contact method, shipment details (route, cargo, weights, dates, notes) and any documents you attach.
- Abuse protection. To stop automated spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address with each request and use it only to limit how many requests one device can send. We do not store the IP address itself.
- Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the website.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your quote, and to contact you about your shipment.
- To book, ship, clear and deliver your cargo if you go ahead.
- To keep the website secure and free of spam.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only what is needed to handle your shipment: for example shipping lines, airlines, transport and warehouse partners, insurers and customs authorities. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Where it is stored and for how long
Requests and attachments are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (a database and file storage linked to this website), which may process data outside Egypt. Attached documents are deleted automatically after 12 months. Request details are kept as part of our business records for as long as they are needed, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
WhatsApp, phone and email
If you contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
Cookies
The website does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
